As Heard on The Maverick Morning Show - Sheriff's Office Takes Measures to Limit Exposure To Covid-19

March 20, 2020

Graham, NC-

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office has taken further steps to limit all of our employees and the public to the possible exposure to Coronavirus Covid-19.

This action includes closing the front lobby of the Sheriff’s Office located at 109 S. Maple St., Graham, N.C. (This does not mean the Sheriff’s Office is closed.)

Citizens having business at the Sheriff’s Office will be directed by signage, to enter through the doors of our side entrance. The desk Officer will be located inside behind protective glass.

Concealed Carry applications and Gun Permit applications will be available at the window. However, it is important to remember that there is no fingerprinting at this time which is a requirement to receive a CC permit.

If you have a general question or concern, a request for us to take a report for a non-emergency incident, etc., please call us at 336-570-6300 before coming to our office.

Our office is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Measures have also been taken affecting our Patrol Division. If citizens have a non-emergency need for service, our Deputy may call prior to arrival. Some issues possibly can be resolved by phone.

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office stands ready to protect and serve all county residents.
