ABSS Could Be Getting Another $70 Million In Covid Relief

Alamance County’s public schools could be getting another 70 million dollars in covid relief money. That would be in addition to the 35 million they have already been promised. According to state education officials, the second round of funding is supposed to be double the first round, which in this case would be 70 million. ABSS spokesmen have reportedly told the Alamance News they will use the money for improvements to the school buildings, to hire more instructors and for a summer learning program among other things.
