Kids in Alamance Burlington Schools are already back a few days each week. In a few weeks, all of them are expected back to traditional days and hours. The Centers For Disease Control says it has come across studies that show the coronavirus has very little chance of spreading in our schools, and has issued new guidelines. Some of those include the idea that the kids do not have to stay 6 feet apart. Now, they can be 3 feet apart, as long as they are wearing masks. As of next month, all public schools in North Carolina have been told to go back to the traditional way of doing things. Private and charter schools of course have mostly been back to normal for most of this entire year, with no problems reported. Several medical organizations have been saying all along that it is worse to keep kids away from schools than it is to isolate them at home.
